Featured: Downtown Daybreak in Utah Business Magazine

The August 2025 issue of Utah Business Magazine included an eight-page spread featuring Downtown Daybreak, Utah's first-of-its-kind sports and entertainment district. Downtown Daybreak is redefining what it means to live, work, shop, and play in Utah.

Anchoring the new district is The Ballpark at America First Square, the home of the Salt Lake Bees. Surrounding the stadium is a year-round lineup of destinations, including a Megaplex cinema entertainment center with movies, bowling, games, and enhanced dining. The area also features a mixture of restaurants and shops, such as Moena Café, Hires Big H, Nomad Eatery, Rockwell Ice Cream, Naraya by Sawadee Thai, Jolley’s Corner, and the Salt Lake Bees Team Store.

Entertainment goes beyond game day. In the summer, the Rio Tinto Kennecott Stage hosts live concerts and events, while the winter season transforms the square into a festive ice-skating destination. Looking ahead, the Miller Arts Center, funded by a $25 million donation from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, will expand the region’s cultural offerings even further.

With convenient access via TRAX light rail and the Mountain View Corridor, Downtown Daybreak is emerging as a central gathering place along the Wasatch Front. As part of the award-winning Daybreak master-planned community, Downtown Daybreak embodies the vision of smart, sustainable placemaking—where jobs, entertainment, and lifestyle converge. Open 365 days a year, it’s more than a destination; it’s a new model for Utah’s future; it’s where life takes place. Read the full article, here.
